executive assistant to the director

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to the Director for our forest kindergarten, position starting in January 2019. We would like someone who is interested in working for a magical school, and who is a wizard with the following things:
-Excellent writing skills
-Excellent communication skills, one-on-one and in group settings
-Ability to navigate Excel
-Comfortable working with Squarespace websites, creating new content
-Great with social media, creating new content
-Comfortable creating newsletters, organizing mailing lists
-Comfortable organizing photo storage systems
-Comfortable dealing with the world of marketing/advertising
-Comfortable with fundraising projects
-Comfortable with large-scale event organizing
-Great sense of design, classic, simple and understated
-Extremely Type A organizationally, but must be a people person first and foremost
-Great around children, warm-hearted, sense of humor, witty!
-Healthy, excellent at self-care
-Super organized, did I mention that?
-Willing to run errands, hang flyers, make copies make tea, be flexible, whatever it takes to get it all done
-Cheerfulness in all circumstances
Position will start at 10 hours per week, and likely increase to 20 hours per week in time. Starting pay will be between $16 and $18/hr. Work location will initially be at our office in Lafayette, and later will move to our licensed child care facility off of Cherryvale in Boulder.

Forest Kindergarten Intern
(August-December 2019 & January-May 2020)

Wee Folk Forest Kindergarten is a unique, entirely outdoor preschool for children ages 2 1/2 to 6 and we are seeking a Forest Kindergarten Intern to join us during program hours on various days in the forest. (We can work with your schedule!) We are located on a farm in East Boulder, and interns must have reliable transportation to and from the forest.
We are seeking a candidate with a love of children, a keen interest in alternative models of education, with a dedication to the outdoors, as well as to enhancing their own naturalist sensibilities.
Interns will be assisting lead teachers at the school, supporting children, growing their naturalist knowledge base and understanding of early childhood education. Perfect for an education or environmental studies major interested in pursuing a career involving nature and children, or anyone who sees this as a part of their life's path.
